DIGITAL DISCONNECT

A "digital disconnect" between teachers and students is preventing students from maximizing the educational value of the Internet for classroom work, according to a study by Pew Internet. WestNET's goal is to help bridge that disconnect for students.

THE FINAL THIRTY FEET

The Big Impact Project for WestNET involves a partnership with businesses to complete the Final Thirty Feet of the Westford Public Schools network to connect the students. Technologies such as SmartBoards, laptops, PDAs are needed to enhance and improve the instruction to Westford's students. 

WestNET works in collaboration with the Westford Public Schools on its goals.
